Accessibility statement

Mason Harriman Group is committed to making MHG Ascend usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. The platform is developed to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a build requirement, not a remediation.

What that means in practice

• Every page has landmarks, a skip link, a single page heading and a logical heading order.
• Every form control has a visible label. Errors are announced and described in text.
• Keyboard focus is always visible, and everything that can be clicked can be reached with the keyboard.
• Colour is never the only carrier of meaning: status is written as text alongside any colour.
• Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
• Tables have captions and header cells. Wide tables scroll rather than forcing the page to.
• Motion is reduced when the operating system asks for it.

Conformance and testing

Conformance is tested with automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks on each release. An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is maintained and is available on request.
